A Chicago Must-Have

After a surprisingly swift 6 hour drive we finally arrived in Chicago. Chicago is famous for a few food items including popcorn, hot dogs, and beer but deep dish pizza is the most notable. There are so many pizzerias in the area that it made it somewhat difficult to decide. But after a very informative conversation with our hotel's concierge we decided on Gino's Original. Gino's specializes in deep dish pizza but makes their pizza original by adding cornmeal to the crust giving it a slightly sweet taste. Gino's also has another quirk and that's the overall decor. The restaurant allows customers to write all over the walls, chairs, and other decor... basically, covering every inch of the restaurant in writing. When it came time to eat we ordered a calamari appetizer, house salad, medium sausage and cheese deep dish pizza, and small spinach and cheese deep dish pizza.
