Chocolate Wasted

As some of you may know, "Grown Ups" (Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, etc.) is one of my favorite movies. This is the film were the phrase "chocolate wasted" comes from. Despite being a chocolate enthusiast I had never experienced the feeling of chocolate wasted... that is until today.

My roommate happens to work in Downtown Pittsburgh near where the Cake Boss guy was giving out 1000 free cakes today. She and a couple of her coworkers waited in line for 2 hours to snag one if the gourmet cakes that typically run for $30 a cake. After I showered off my 5 mile run she described the her day and the cake and the crowds and the lines then offered me some (which I knew would totally negate the run but it was Cake Boss cake so I didn't care).

Let me tell you, that was some bomb.com cake. I ate it 3 hours ago and I'm still recovering. I have self-diagnosed myself with being chocolate wasted due to my symptoms: lethargic, overly satiated, slightly dreamy. Even writing this blog is a struggle.

This chocolate goodness was possibly too good to be true. It deserves a warning label: Consume in small amounts or prepare to be chocolate wasted.
