Wangs and Waffles

This weekend we are in the LA area to attend a music festival. We are really excited and can't wait to see the music acts. But in the meantime until the festival starts we are doing a little sight seeing and hitting a few foodie hotspots. First stop Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles on West Pico Blvd. This was my first time visiting this Roscoe's location.

Michelle, Francis, and I were starving since we had been on the road all morning and Josh was also pretty hungry since he had just gotten off work. So I could only get a few snap shots of the meal.

Josh's drink of choice: The Sunset (fruit punch and lemonade). I had to get a pic since the rest of us just got water (well Francis got Sprite but that isn't all that interesting to take a photo of.)

Michelle, Josh, and I all got variations of the Country Boy, which is a few chicken pieces and a waffle.

Yummmmm!

Francis isn't really a waffle guy so he ordered the House Combo of 2 thighs, yams, greens, and cornbread.

And of course no trip to Roscoe's is complete without a side of gravy. Great for dipping the chicken in.

The final destruction of our meal. Michelle and I don't play when it comes to chicken bone cleaning.
