Don't Call it a Comeback

Many moons ago our family went to Outback Steakhouse and to say our meal was not up to par would be an understatement. To put it in perspective we did not even take home our leftovers, which generally never happens with our family. So, about a week ago our parents sent us a picture text message saying that they had gone to Outback and that the meal was really good. Initially Michelle and I were very skeptical of this notion but when it comes to food, our parents are generally never wrong about a good meal. So tonight after Dani's high school graduation (yay!!) and before Grad Night our family (minus Dani) went to Outback Steakhouse. Here is what we ordered:

Tasty Bread:

Appetizers:

Seared Ahi Tuna

Kookaburra Wings

Soups/Salads:

Clam Chowder

Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad

Main Dishes:

Mom -- Grilled Alaskan Halibut with Mango Salsa

Dad -- Ribeye Steak with garlic mashed potatos

Michelle -- Grilled Pork Chop with Creole maramalade served with garlic mashed potatoes and seasoned green beans

Myself -- Grilled Mahi topped with artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, green onions, and light lemon sauce served with seasoned veggies.

Everything was absolutely delicious and our experience was completely opposite of our last experience years ago. I guess Momma (& Dad) really does know best ;)
